About

Hala Fathima is a filmmaker and producer based in Los Angeles (but originally from the Bay Area) with a love for rich, character-driven stories and a cinematic style that leans toward vintage aesthetics—grainy textures, soft lighting, and a touch of nostalgia.

She’s worked across physical production, development and post-production in commercials, short films, and television– taking on roles from producer to 1st AD, and script supervisor (basically, making sure everything runs smoothly while running on too little sleep).

Her storytelling blends classic influences with modern perspectives, always searching for that perfect mix of timeless and fresh. When she’s not on set, she’s probably tinkering with her grandfather’s old cameras.
